I'll ask the guys from Elrepo about it, they are the ones packaging this, even in EL6.

Hello again,

After I install the package "kmod-hfs-0.0-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64", I get this message

index.php?t=getfile&id=145&private=0

And the pkg "kmod-hfsplus-0.0-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64", freezes the screen and after a while it crashes the system, it give me this:

index.php?t=getfile&id=146&private=0

I don't if I did something wrong, just enabled the elrepo-testing.repo using "gedit" file and then "yum install kmod-hfsplus-0.0-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64".

Thank you so much!
And sorry for my bad English, I'm from Brazil

Hello,

Does this happen even after a reboot?
Can you make sure the hfsplus module is loaded?

Hi,

I tried a few times, even reinstalled CentOS.

I'm newbie in Linux, but I think the kernel module (driver) is missing.

$ grep HFSPLUS '/boot/config-3.10.0-123.6.3.el7.x86_64'
$ CONFIG_HFSPLUS_FS is not set

I run this command:

$ modprobe hfsplus

Now the hfsplus appears in the modules list (when I hit lsmod)
But it doesn't working.

I've tested with two hfs devices Confused

Don't reinstall the whole OS. Smile

Can you try to also install kmod-hfs in addition and see if with both the modules it makes any difference?
