Hello Nux
Been a long time since I posted. Still using 6.8 (final) daily with no issues. Cool
I saw mention of 6.10 on the Centos forums. Has there been any notable changes?
Just curious.

Enjoying your distro and not looking forward to 2020 when Centos stops supporting
Gnome2. Maybe Mate after that, eh? Smile

Stay healthy and thanks!

Hi,

6.10 is maintenance release, nothing really that notable.
I was lazy in updating to the new release, but you should still get all the CentOS 6 updates regardless. Smile

Thanks Smile

You should however consider upgrading, EL6 is starting to show its age.
CentOS7 + MATE is not half bad, have a go.

Thanx for the heads-up Nux.

Have Centos 7 installed using both Mate and Gnome 3. Very stable. I think I'll stay with it.

Ubuntu Mate is pretty good too, but Debian rules are in your face all the time. Centos much better.

Cheers Smile
