Nice distro.

I'm using RedHat since 2002... i tried Fedora but failed me - too unstable for my taste so i'm using CentOS 6.5 now for my desktop pc.

I have Stella GNU/Linux installed into a virtual machine and everything seems allright after a week of tests. I may replace my Centos based desktop with Stela on the next os install... "unfortunatelly" my Centos is working as expected and there is no reason to do that now Smile

I would like to share for my experience about turning Centos in a desktop every day os. I believe it's one of the best/most stable distro for desktop as well once you managed to install all the application you need missing from the official repositories.

Once again congrats for Stella! Nice job!

Thanks, alopia!
If CentOS works fine, then there is no need to change it. Stella is 99% CentOS Smile

If all you need is some extra packages, then you can add my repo
http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/dextop/el6/x86_64/nux-dextop-r elease-0-2.el6.nux.noarch.rpm

Stella is basically CentOS + the above repo + some changed icons.

Be careful as it conflicts with rpmforge, rpmfusion etc; don't use it if you have those enabled already.
