Maybe its helpfully, found this by searching in the web.

Turn Num Lock key on
This can be done through 2 steps.

Install "numlockx"
Edit the /etc/gdm/Init/Default file

Install numlockx through terminal using this command
sudo yum install numlockx

Edit the /etc/gdm/Init/Default file through Gedit using this command in a terminal
sudo gedit /etc/gdm/Init/Default

In the file which opens, above exit 0, paste the lines below

if [ -x /usr/bin/numlockx ]; then
/usr/bin/numlockx on
fi

Save the file and exit.

Next time you reboot, num lock will be on by default

Couldn't you just have added "numlockx on" to your Gnome start-up programs?

Please tell me wich one it's command? I added it on start-up but i miss the comand for it.

I tried to install numlockx. I get error messages. This is what my terminal looks like:

[root@localhost ~]# yum install numlockx
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Error: File contains parsing errors: file://///etc/yum.repos.d/linuxtech.repo
[line 2]: name=LinuxTECH

[line 3]: baseurl=http://pkgrepo.linuxtech.net/el6/release/

[line 4]: enabled=1

[line 5]: gpgcheck=1

[line 6]: gpgkey= http://pkgrepo.linuxtech.net/el6/release/RPM-GPG-KEY-LinuxTE CH.NET

So I don;t know what to do next. Please help.

Seems like that file is not formatted properly. You could just remove it or move it elsewhere as backup, e.g. (as root)

mv /etc/yum.repos.d/linuxtech.repo /etc/yum.repos.d/linuxtech.repo.bak
