Hi,
I'm in the process of setting up the nux dextop & epel repositories on centos 6.5 64 bit and have a couple questions.
First in the nux instructions is there a reason the i386 epel repo is used,...
dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/i386/epel-release-6-8.noarch .rpm
...rather than the x86_64 version?
dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noar ch.rpm
Second is there a reason the epel that comes with centos (in the extras repo) should not be used?
Thanks,
-Jeff

Hello,
1. The noarch RPM from the i386 tree is the same with the noarch package from the 64bit tree.
2. You can use the epel-release package from CentOS Extras, at the time when I wrote the instructions this was not the case. Other RH clones may not have epel-release in their repos, so the instructions are still useful.
