Hi,

Well, I've installed Stella 6.3 and updated packages. All has gone well and I must say that Stella does seem to be a simple, straightford distro.

What I'm not sure about, and can't work out, is how to add a desired app like, say, Shotwell Photo Manager. If someone would care to enlighten me I'd be grateful.

Hello,

Thanks you for the kind words.

Re software, the problem with (RH)EL clones is that software can get quite old. For example, because GTK and Gnome versions are quite dated, it is not possible to build Shotwell.
Perhaps there is an alternative application that you could work with instead?

Tony,

Could be a long shot and I can't say I recommend it (since I never used it), but check this out
