it looks very nice, never tested Scientific Linux 7.
Look here http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/scientific-linux-7.html , is it wrong what he discovers?

Dedoimedo hates gnome 3, that's the reason why he has written such a bad review about SL. If he had reviewed CentOS Gnome the results would have been the same. The only reason why I use SL KDE over CentOS KDE is because I feel that the folks at SL had put more work into integrating KDE than the folks at CentOS. It simply works better for me.
