Maybe it`s a silly question, but here it is.
I got some issues with the last kernel update, so I`m using now the kernel 3.10.0-123.20.1.el7 without any trouble.
In yum.conf I have prevented now kernel updates.
Is it possible to stay by this kernel as long as I use the same hardware or will I get trouble by the next coming updates?

Seems to be not a simple question. I found a lot of very different opinions in www.

Yes, it`s done.
Somebody listened to me.
The updates for the xserver did solve the issues with the latest kernel.
Thanks for hearing.
