Hi, I noticed that SDXC camera cards are not detected, lest mounted, on Stella and CentOS, despite exfat-utils and fuse-exfat being properly installed in both systems. Same cards are properly detected on Arch- and Ubuntu-based OSs.

Has anybody come across the same problem and can someone provide suggestions?

Thanks.

Ok, reinstalled a fresh clone of CentOS and it now works. But still no go on Stella. Weird... Will keep experimenting.

What kernel do you have on this "clone"?

Also, check "fdisk -l" as root when the problem happens, as well as "dmesg" - usually there are clues there.

dmesg returns this, confirming the card is working, but the card still ain't detected by Stella in the workstation explorer.

Ok, so probably the issues lies with udev and not properly recognising exFAT.
Can you try to manually mount it, e.g. as root:
mkdir /mnt/stick
mount.exfat-fuse /dev/sdc1 /mnt/stick

[user1@linux ~]$ su
Mot de passe :
[root@linux user1]# mkdir /mnt/stick
[root@linux user1]# mount.exfat-fuse /dev/sdc1 /mnt/stick
FUSE exfat 1.0.0
