BTW they seem to provide an RPM here http://www.frostwire.com/download/?os=redhat&
Have you tried it?

Many thanks. I'll give that a try and revert.

Did dry that, but after installation, it seems to crash on startup. Sad

Sorry for my confusion in thread above. Too much cut-n-paste (aka click-n-clack).
And the Edit button dies quite fast in this forum, so I couldn't fix my mistakes. More Sad

Works fine here, can you (re)move the config dir and see if that does anything?
mv ~/.frostwire5 ~/.frostwire5.orig

It seems there's no frostwire package available in CentOS 7 nux-dextop-testing repo

Maybe I posted this thread in the wrong stella place.
I'm not sure what is stella.
Should this thread be moved to "repos" rather than "stella" ?
Sorry for any trouble.

frostwire needs some dependencies, eg mplayer.
So I used this :

# wget http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/dextop-testing/el7/x86_64/fros twire-6.2.4-1.el7.nux.x86_64.rpm
# yum install frostwire-6.2.4-1.el7.nux.x86_64.rpm --enablerepo=nux-dextop

Seems working nicely. So many thanks.
Do I need to do any testing, give feedback ?
So far, I merely give gratitude. Razz
