I have tried several times today to download Stella 6.7 64 bit. I have a 100 MB connection. It finally completed downloading on the 4th or 5th try. Is there another more stable mirror or link available? Thanks.

Where did you try to download it from exactly?

I downloaded from your home page from the London, UK mirror hosted by Coreix. I thought that maybe this time around, 6 yrs. later, that I would be able to use Stella. But there is an ongoing problem with installing Wine which is a must on all my 5 Lenovo Thinkpad laptops. I was able to get CentOS 7-1804 running great with very low memory usage at idle but could not easily install Wine since Red Hat went to 64-bit for everything with Ver. 7 and 32-bit programs are needed for Wine. Sad but true. Thanks.

Hi,

Try to Romanian site:
http://li.nux.ro/download/ISO/Stella6.7_i386.1.iso

However, EL6 (Stella) is getting pretty old. I suggest you shop around for distros still offering 32bit images.
Fedora is said to have improved quite a bit and I see they still have 32bit ISOs: https://getfedora.org/en/workstation/download/
