Hi,

i'm in the middle of reinstalling my media center pc and thought about switching from xbmcbuntu to a rhel based 7 system because i work with rhel every day and centos 7 looked like a good, quite up to date, base for it.

But know i'm facing ja major problem, xbmc crashes every video exactly 9 seconds before it ends.

Attached is my xbmc crashlog, at the moment i try to compile 13.2 from source and crosscheck the behaviour, is there any plan to update xbmc to 13.2 or even 14.0?

Kind regards

Anton

Deptico,

I know, but with XBMC (as with many others) I am following RPMFusion, so will probably upgrade it to Kodi once they have something usable.

How about build Kodi for EL7/CentOS 7?

yum --enablerepo=nux-dextop search kodi
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * nux-dextop: mirror.li.nux.ro
No matches found

Update... I found Kodi. Thanks nux. Some explanations.
Add file
/etc/yum.repos.d/nux-kodi7.repo
[nux-kodi7]
name=Nux.Ro kodi7
baseurl=http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/tmp/kodi7

And then
yum install kodi
