Its about more than 2 years that CentOS 7 was out but still Stella 7 is not released. So, I would like to ask it Stella 7 will get released or not, or last version was the final release of this Linux distro.
I have got the latest laptop with latest hardware in which Stella 6.7 doesn't boots & gives Kernel panic error, same was the case with CentOS 6.7 & other CetnOS based distros. As I updated to CentOS 7, it started booting fine. So, I want Stella also to get upgraded to latest release.

Hi,
As I replied to you in the other post, Stella 7's fate is yet to be determined, but if you install CentOS 7 and add my nux-dextop repo, then you already have Stella without the art work.

Hi,
Just install CentOS 7, then:
yum -y install epel-release
yum -y install http://li.nux.ro/download/nux/dextop/el7/x86_64/nux-dextop-release-0-1.el7.nux.noarch.rpm
That's it.
Now you can install VLC and what not.

No, EPEL doesnt cause any conflicts, in fact nux-dextop requires a lot of packages from EPEL. So the right order would be EPEL, then later when needed, add nux-dextop.
Conflicts exist between nux-dextop and rpmforge/repoforge and atrpms and possibly any other repos that provide the same multimedia packages.
